Maquette of Besse K. Higgenbottom from "the Mighty B!"

I started this maquette of Bessie (I learned a lot interning on that show) years ago - and then had to leave it unfinished as I moved back to SF. As I was working on my bust of Elsa - I wanted to see if I could save Bessie. Amazingly I was able to get life back into the old dried sculpey by mixing in some newer sculpey and a little fast drying epoxy.

Now I have another maquette to use for a demo piece in class. Particularly great since Bessie is one of the best examples of a graphic character that is still volumetric.
